Where we ship, how long it takes, and what to expect at the door. Full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

Dispatch time

Most orders leave our Vienna shop within 1–3 business days of receipt. We do not dispatch on weekends or Austrian public holidays. If a piece needs special preparation, we will let you know by email.

Once your parcel is on its way, we send a dispatch confirmation with a tracking link.

Where we ship

We ship throughout Austria, the European Union, and to many destinations worldwide. The countries available, the carriers, and the costs are shown at checkout once you enter your address.

If your country is not listed at checkout, please email hello@birdiestore.at and we will see what we can arrange.

Carriers and delivery times

Depending on your destination and the option you choose, we ship with DPD, Austrian Post, or DHL. Estimated delivery times for standard service:

Estimates exclude weekends, public holidays, and time spent in customs for non-EU destinations. Exact options and prices are shown at checkout.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and the carrier you choose. The total — item price, delivery, and any applicable VAT — is shown before you click PAY.

Tracking

You will receive a dispatch email with a tracking link as soon as your order leaves our shop. You can also find tracking details in your order history if you placed the order while logged in.

Pickup in Vienna

If pickup is offered for your order at checkout, you can collect it at our shop:

When the carrier can’t deliver

If the carrier cannot reach you, they will usually leave a card and try again, hold the parcel for collection at a nearby pickup point, or attempt to find a safe drop-off. Please contact the carrier directly using the tracking reference to arrange redelivery or pickup.

If the carrier cannot deliver and the package is returned to us and you have not formally cancelled your order within the 14-day period, we will refund only the price of the items, not the original outbound delivery charge or return shipment costs. If you wish to exercise your 14-day cancellation right, please contact us — in that case standard delivery costs will be refunded as required by law.

When risk passes to you

Risk for loss or damage passes to you only when your order is delivered to you, or to a person you nominated (other than the carrier). If anything arrives damaged, contact us right away and we will sort it out.

Customs and duties (non-EU only)

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees charged by the destination country. These charges are set by the destination country, are outside our control, and are the responsibility of the customer.

Please check the rules of your country before ordering. Refusing a delivery to avoid customs charges does not entitle you to a full refund — see “When the carrier can’t deliver” above.

Multiple addresses

Each order can be shipped to a single delivery address. If you would like items sent to different addresses, please place separate orders.

Damaged or wrong item received

Please email us within a reasonable time at hello@birdiestore.at with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in line with our Terms and Conditions.
